The paper trimmers are essential for schools and offices and even for home use, if you find yourself having to use the scissors one time too many. Four of their best selling paper trimmers are: neutron, proton, electron, and atom and we will take a brief look at each one of them.

The Neutron is the paper trimmer with the smallest capacity and is ideal for the home user since it cuts 10 sheets of paper in one go. It comes in two different versions: Neutron and Neutron Plus and each one of them uses steel rotary blade that can easily be removed and replaced if the need arises. The Neutron Plus offers choice of four blade styles: straight, perforating, wavy, and scoring and has metallic cutting bed as well.

The Proton paper trimmers also come in two models: Proton 120 and Proton 180, with the former capable of cutting paper with 12’’ maximum width and the latter paper with 18’’ maximum width. Both models can also cut up to 10 sheets of paper at a time, have quick change blade system as the Neutron trimmers, but have cutting guides and variable paper clamps that ensure precision and give the ability to cut paper with different sizes and make angle cuts as well.

Electron: similar to the Proton, the Electron also comes in two versions - Electron 120 and Electron 180, with the ability to cut paper up to 12’’ and 18’’ wide respectively. The Electron paper trimmers offer four different blade styles: straight, perforating, wavy, and scoring; the one feature that is not available in the Neutron and Proton models is the SafeCut LED guide, which dramatically improves safety. The capacity of the Electron is also 10 sheets of paper at one time.
- Atom is the perfect paper trimmer for larger offices and can cut up to 30 sheets of paper in one go. It also comes in two models: Atom 150 and Atom 180, capable of cutting paper with 15” and 18’’ cutting width respectively. Atom uses heavy-duty rotary blades that are capable of cutting materials like plastic sheets, boards, and cardstocks and also uses cutting guides and paper clamps. The cutting base is durable, made of metal, and complete with rubber feet that prevent slippage.
